If you are using Microsoft Windows on your computer, sometimes when you turn your computer on, it will go into "Safe Mode." When this happens, it will say "Safe Mode" in all four corners of your screen, and things on your screen "may" be bigger. "Safe Mode" means Windows was unable to use some of the programs that tell it how to use the equipment on your computer (the screen, printer, speakers, scanner, etc.). This may be a "one time" glitch, or there may be something damaged (usually a "file" on your "hard drive").If you see "Safe Mode" on all four corners of your screen, first shut down your computer in the usual way, by clicking on Start, then "Shut Down" or "Turn Off" (which ever you have), etc., and turn the power off. Then turn your computer back on again. If it does not go back into Safe Mode, don't worry about it. If it does go back into Safe Mode, call a computer technician for help.
